The children at Mercy’s Cross have a place to call their own!
The Children’s Center is a place of wonder and discovery as children learn Bible truths.
Our goal for each week-end service is to create an environment that is both educational and entertaining.
We want to capture your child’s imagination, intrigue them and set them on a course of discovery.
Age specific areas have been designed to provide the best learning environment for your children.
Each child will be made to feel special and treated like they belong to our family.
When you arrive at Mercy’s Cross for the first time, your child will need to be checked in at our
Children’s Center Information Desk located in the front foyer of their respective building.
This is where you will fill out all necessary information for us to provide a safe environment for your child.
You will get a matching tag for you and your child. Please inform us at this time of any allergies or special instructions.
You will also need this matching tag to pick up your child when the service is over.
All workers in Mercy’s Cross Children’s Center have completed extensive forms,
background checks and an orientation program to ensure the safety of your child.
KidzLife Nursery - Toddler
(0 - 24 Months)
Our nursery and toddler focus is to provide a safe, loving environment
that meets not only the physical needs of your child, but also their
emotional needs. Playing Christian lullabies, praying over your baby, and
reading them Christian stories are just a few of the ways we express
God’s love to your special treasure. Our primary concern is that your child feels loved.
KidzLife Preschool Area
(2 - 5 Years)
Our goal in the preschool area is to give your child a safe environment to begin to
discover who God is and how Jesus affects their lives. To this age the world
is all about them, so we play that to our advantage. We show them how
God made them, the world around them, how Jesus loves them, how
Jesus sacrificed for them, and how he still takes care of their needs each day.
We have Large Group Time where kids have their own worship,
complete with music, motions, drama, multi media and DVDs on a big screen.
They then break off into their groups for Connection time with their leader
and kids in their specific age range. Rest assured that your child will have
plenty to do on their adventure to learn about God.
KidzLife
(1st - 5th Grade)
Kids this age are looking for something exciting and creative to keep their attention.
How about kids getting their own creative worship space geared just for their age?
We have it here!
We have Large Group Time where kids have their own worship, complete
with music, motions, drama, games and fun, multi media and DVD’s on a
big screen. They then break off into their groups for Connection time
with their leader and kids in their specific age range.
KidzLife Junior Staff
Starting in 4th grade, we give our Junior Staff the opportunity to help lead
the services in our KidZLife Program. They meet with the large group to do
worship and lesson time just like the younger kids. However, this
special group is allowed to be in charge of areas ranging from sound,
media, greeting, game monitors, announcements, prize givers, drama team,
and various other positions. This helps our kids become servants
and start to discover what God might have in store for them through service.
This group has their own T-shirts and name tags to distinguish them
from the other children. After helping run the service, the junior staff also meets
in Connection time with their age group to make vital connections with kids their age.
There are many positions available where you can serve.
